High Alumina Firebricks in Rwanda are the most common form of dense refractories. These Refractory bricks, we make them from hydrated aluminium silicates and small amounts of pother elements.
Firebricks/refractory bricks are one of Kingsman Engineering Co., main refractory material. We mainly use them in steel mills, boiler houses, lining furnaces, kilns, ovens, fireboxes, fireplaces and other related applications
At Kingsman Engineering,https://kingsmanengineering.co.ke/refractory-cement-in-nairobi-kenya/ we mainly stock two types of High Alumina fire bricks:
1). 40% Alumina Fire Brick- Service Temp. of up to 1300 degrees
11) 70% Alumina Fire Bricks – Service Temp. of up to 1750 degrees
The bricks measure 230mm by 115mm by 75mm and are bauxite based.
Our fire bricks are usually dense. They are best used in applications with extreme mechanical, chemical, or thermal stresses. These includes the inside of a wood-fired kiln or a furnace, which is subject to abrasion from wood, fluxing from ash or slag, and high temperatures. High Alumina Firebricks in Kigali, Rwanda have a high thermal mass which is sometimes a useful property in retaining heat eg in a pizza ovens after the fire has been taken out.
Kingsman Engineering Refractory bricks usually contain 30-40% alumina content. Their primary raw material is usually chamotte with other materials. The maximum service temperature increases with increasing alumina content. Kiln bricks is obtained with an alumina content of 80% and above.
